A Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is a number that confirms that a University or College or Registered Educational institution has made an unconditional offer on specified course.
How Long is a Certificate of Acceptance for Studies granted for?
A CAS letter is usually valid for 6 months and it must be utilised to apply for a Student Visa in the UK.
What are the Eligibility requirements for a Certificate of Acceptance for Studies?
To be eligible to apply for a CAS, you must meet the requirements set out by the University. You will be required to provide evidence of your previous education and English language requirement.
The Home Office will expect to see evidence to support your application for the Student Visa.
When will the University/College apply for my Certificate of Acceptance for Studies?
The University/College will be going through the registration system and as an applicant you will be required to complete the necessary assigned tasks. Once these tasks have been successfully completed your University/College will provide you with an unconditional offer. After reviewing the offer, you will be required to either accept it or reject it and if accepted you will then proceed towards paying the initial deposit of your fees.
